Anyone can have a Candy Buffet,..

Who ever said candies were only for kids,.. I think in any and every event there should be a “Candy Buffet”, all sorts of style, colors, sizes and taste. It gives not only an additional place for guests to visit besides their tables to eat, share and conversate with each other, but also a place to remember that special event. I love candies, and I love the feeling of serving myself.

David Tutera Wedding Collection – Candy Buffet Scoop Set (Set of 4 Scoops)

Using scoops per place can make the buffet more classy, and also placing a scoop in each box as a favor would also give the guest something to keep and remember. You can also place a nice colored ribbon on each scoop, using the same colors as the candies.

I really admire all the things David Tutera has done for Brides around the world, and how he devotes himself for them. being able to see such human being bring so much to the Wedding Industry has really made a huge difference in how weddings must and will be seen. A wedding now is  not only a once in a lifetime moment but a journey to remember for the rest of your life, how you begin your wedding and are wedded, is how your journey begins.

The candy buffet I will be creating for my June Bride will be Chocolate & Turquoise colors, I will be posting pictures of how it all went. For now just enjoy Davids Wedding Collection and more to come, I have seen many so far in JoAnns Fabric and I must say David has awesome taste, he knows what we like and what we want to see in an Event.

Destination Weddings

You must determine immediately whether or not you will be having a destination wedding. A growing number of engaged couples look to combine their wedding with their honeymoon or jet to an enticing location to elope. It can conceivably cost less to get married in this maner than to hold a full-scale wedding ceremony and reception, and if you have budget concerns, this may be an option worth pursuing.

If you do choose a destination wedding, it is likely that some of your loved ones will be unable to attend on such short notice. Also, you need to be sensitive to their financial situations, since it is costly to attend a destination wedding. However, if you decide to go ahead with this sort of wedding, it is possible to stream video footage of the ceremony live over the Internet.

The many hats of a wedding planner

image

Wedding planners wear many hats when it comes to work. Sometimes we can do something or do it all, or sometimes we need to learn and say “no” to everything, before we can say yes, but this seems a bit hard because as a Wedding Planner we love our brides and all we want is to see them happy no matter what. Like me, here I am posting on my blog through my phone, while running errands, looking around to expand my business to a bigger place.
Many hats of a wedding planner can be good and can also be heavy, hectic and draining. I try to please my brides in all I am capable of, and creative. If I can make a flower arrangement  I do it, if I have to make invitations,…i make them.
We can decorate as well as plan anything to please our brides.
Today I visited a local and fell so inlove with it, I want to lease it so badly I can taste success. I will keep you all posted on my new business… I am ALWAYS there for my Brides no matter what, and this is why I said “THE MANY HATS OF A WEDDING PLANNER”,

Mr + Mrs Hainlen were married in the summer of 2011… and she wanted a reason to get back into their wedding gear. All I could think was ‘valentines is coming… what if we could do something for the blog!’ They were totally on board, I’m sure Jaymi was a little more excited than Will, and they were pretty much up for anything. Talking to them I was instantly inspired by Will’s dark grey suit and decided to pair it with deep reds. Loving the look of high fashion adds, I wanted to keep the overall ‘props’ simple – so we focused on flowers and lighting. Jaymi and I pinned images back and forth for about a week, getting super excited about the overall theme for the shoot – you can check out our board {here}. It…

DIY Bride Invitation

There is nothing better than creating your very own invitations, they are not only a very cheap way to save money but also something you can fell treasured and loved by making with your very own hands, as a Wedding Planner, I find it admiring to do things on our own.

This is another invitation I made as a sample, I used Chocolate with Turquoise Green lace and added a little bling on the top wording which gave it a fancy touch.

I am always trying to find ways to save my brides time and money, this is why I choose things on my own at times.

The extremely talented Esther Sun Photography was generous enough to share this beautiful wedding with us today! Gerry and Anabel tied the knot in the heart Los Angeles at Saint Vincent de Paul and then celebrated in the beautiful gardens of Los Angeles River Center. The sultry choice of deep reds and oranges was perfectly carried throughout their entire event… from her beautiful flowers to her red lips… this gorgeous palette is getting me in the mood for Valentines Day!
